Description of the Single

Celebrating 5 years of her full time artist career, Sandra Bullet is back with a fresh new mix of one of her most successful releases, Longe.

This acoustic, upbeat happy song talks about searching for meaning in life, while celebrating the never satisfied human nature.

It was written, recorded and produced entirely in the artist’s own studio, and it’s a trip between Setúbal and Coimbra, between an uncertain music career and a steady Mechanical Engineer job, between sanity and depression.

Why such a powerful theme has such a happy, care-free vibe? According to the artist, it’s because “We have to accept the fact that we’re lost, that we have been going the wrong way, before we can start looking for the right way. And in this sense, realizing we’ve been lost or far away from what we truly want is not really a bad thing; it’s just a beginning of a new chapter.”

Description of the Single

The first single from the upcoming album “Somewhere In The Crowd”, “Why?!” is a fun energetic teen Pop-Rock song.

Going back to her origins, Sandra invited her former band mates Ricardo Gaspar e Eduardo Maduro to record drums and bass guitar, giving this single and the whole album the pureness of real drums and real bass guitar, along with her already famous guitar and vocal sounds.

Being the “ear-catcher” of the album, it was only fair for this to be the first single. Get ready for serious head-banging time!

This song testifies the dynamic of the upcoming album, showing a darker side, a depthness of emotions and blend of different styles.

Description of the Single

One more single release, this time a winner for a previous contest on YouTube.

“Holdin’ On” was the most viewed original song from the three options available, and hence the next Sandra’s release.

This time keeping the original acoustic vibe of the first demo, Sandra keeps the song very simple, but with an explosive bridge, this time using real drums, for the first time in her original releases.

It’s a haunting melody that repeats throughout the song, just like the beating of a clock (the song has 60 bpm), that smoothes emotions and calms the restless soul. Just what the world needs in the middle of a global pandemic.

Yet again, Sandra plays the guitar, bass guitar and sings, then composing and mixing this time with real drums to create a full instrumental and an unique sound.
