Uma parte de mim j\u00e1 sabia que o momento estava a chegar. A sua sa\u00fade estava a deteriorar-se muito rapidamente, e a ida ao veterin\u00e1rio foi apenas uma confirma\u00e7\u00e3o e uma \u00faltima tentativa de a manter neste plano f\u00edsico. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depois da sua partida, quando voltei ao trabalho, ouvi algo nesta can\u00e7\u00e3o que nunca tinha ouvido antes. \u00c9 que eu escrevi esta m\u00fasica para o meu antigo companheiro, numa altura em que percebi que, nos nossos momentos mais dif\u00edceis, tudo o que eu queria sentir era apenas o seu amor. Apenas um abra\u00e7o, um sorriso\u2014a\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00e3o simples, e ainda assim de um poder imenso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas depois da Vegeta partir, tudo em que conseguia pensar era no quanto iria sentir falta da sua presen\u00e7a f\u00edsica: o seu p\u00ealo macio, o seu cheirinho doce que me fazia sentir em casa, cada pequeno detalhe que me lembro. N\u00e3o quero nunca esquecer nenhum desses pormenores que faziam dela quem ela era. E ao ouvir a can\u00e7\u00e3o, foi como se fosse ela a cantar para mim! Como \u00e9 poss\u00edvel?! Era a minha pr\u00f3pria voz, letras escritas h\u00e1 tantos anos, mas era ela a dizer-me: <em>\u201cNos teus momentos mais escuros, minha querida amiga humana, tudo o que eu queria era sentir o teu amor, o teu abra\u00e7o, o teu sorriso. Mas estavas t\u00e3o perdida, t\u00e3o consumida pela tua dor que nunca reparaste.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E ent\u00e3o chorei, muito. Ainda choro enquanto escrevo isto. Porque nunca tinha pensado em quanto a minha dor (e o meu foco nessa dor) estava a magoar n\u00e3o s\u00f3 a mim, mas tamb\u00e9m ao meu antigo parceiro e \u00e0 minha companheira de quatro patas. Ela sentia a tens\u00e3o, a dor. Tantas vezes ela voava alto, mas eu mantinha os p\u00e9s presos ao ch\u00e3o. Tudo o que ela queria era que vo\u00e1ssemos com ela. \u00c9 isso que todos os nossos amigos peludos querem de n\u00f3s\u2014que vivamos com leveza, que apreciemos as coisas simples deste mundo, e que o fa\u00e7amos com eles. Mas acho que nunca saberemos como. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bem, estou a aprender, Vegeta.
